January 2020
With the new year comes lots of exciting news, updates and dates for your diary so that at Fit For Anything (FFA) we can help you smash your fitness goals for 2020. As ever we are here to support you - whether that is in training for an event, to train to help with injury, to get fit, tone up, lose weight or improve your nutrition. Our bespoke 1-2-1 training and group sessions are individually designed to help to meet your unique objectives. This newsletter will keep you up to date on all the new relevant developments including that for TEAM Fit For Anything.
Fit For Anything has always encouraged clients to train to complete events as a team and in 2020 there will be a real focus on this so that you can reap all the benefits of group support. Team Fit For Anything (FFA) is guided by a very simple principle: We support, guide and assist each other to be(come) Fit For Anything by sharing health and fitness knowledge and by working out together as a team. Training is focused on improving total fitness using predominantly body weight exercises and based outside to reap all the physical rewards of the elements. Your goals become our goals! With hard work and a supportive team behind one another, together we are stronger and anyone can be(come) Fit for Anything!
WHEN: During each weekend, mostly Saturdays, sometimes Sundays from 3-4pm. Please contact Roel to express your interest and he will confirm.
COSTS: Once you have had your initial consultation (1 hour) and/or run fit assessment - which is merely a mini m.o.t. (costs £45) for health and safety and to allow the training to cater for your current ability - you can take part in our Team training which is FREE until the end of March and £5 per session (1 hour) from April.
From January until April 2020 sessions will mainly take place in Whippendell Woods and are FREE to attend following the initial consultation. For existing FFA clients this consultation has already taken place so Team training is FREE straight away.
VENUES: Sessions can be held at The Farm in Elstree, at Whippendell Woods near Cassiobury Park in Watford, or at the grounds of Merchant Taylors’ School in Moor Park, Northwood.
For the last 3 years, having tried many brands of sportswear for training and races, Roel has been wearing Legendborne. This elite jersey brand gives the best fit, design and appearance in Fit For Anything's opinion, and we want to offer this opportunity for anyone but especially Team FFA members to purchase FFA branded jersey(s) at a reduced rate through Legendborne. Please run your order passed Roel before your order so a discount of 20% can be applied. There is nothing worse than suffering discomfort during an OCR race and the movement, durability and fit of clothing can make a big difference. You can purchase your Team FFA jersey(s) made by Legendborne here.
Congratulations to all FFA clients that took part in events over January. Well done to Lauren Diventura who completed the hilly Watford Half Marathon on 2/2/2020 in a time of 2 hrs 12 minutes. Lauren is training to complete a long-standing goal and taking part in the London Marathon this April. She is running for a personal charity - raising funds for a close friend who is rebuilding a school in Zimbabwe destroyed by storms. You can find out more about her fundraising efforts here.
Why not get your diaries out and set one of these as your next target?
